About

Rosalyn Rubenstein, Principal

With heavy hearts, we would like to inform you of the passing of Rosalyn Rubenstein, MMSt, CTDP, CMC, the Principal of Rubenstein & Associates. A pioneer of specialized professional services and a recognized leader in the field for thirty years, she worked with a wide range of cultural and creative organizations across Canada and internationally. A theorist as well as a practitioner, the author of scientific papers, popular articles and training resources, her work was endorsed by professional associations at home and abroad. While Rosalyn will be greatly missed her work will continue to inform practices in the field.

Rosalyn attained a post-graduate degree in the cultural field (museum studies) and two professional designations — certified training and development professional and certified management consultant, credentials which set her apart with a commitment to global standards of excellence. A respected senior consultant, she was an examiner (oral assessor) for the CMC certified management consultant designation to candidates from all industries and sectors, from education and not-for-profits to financial services and technology.

Rosalyn Rubenstein began her career working in cultural organizations in Canada and in the U.K. and founded her business as a social entrepreneur to pursue innovative work for community engagement, widely practiced today. Her new work included “Leadership for Engagement and Empowerment” and “How to Change Arts Leadership.” See CMC-Canada’s featured interview with Rosalyn in Consult online magazine.

Research and Development

Research and development has been an integral part of Rubenstein & Associates since its inception, providing insights on industry trends and proprietary resources to build capacity. Research is also shared widely through conferences and events, public lectures and publications. Recent research focused on leadership and talent development — more urgent today as a result of the pandemic.
